Confused dog

Another day, another recall that affects our precious pups. This time, it comes from a popular dog food brand that has been around for decades.

According to a notice posted by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, dog pawrents who feed their pooches Pedigree may need to take a second look at the variety they're serving as a voluntary recall has been issued. Effective immediately, Mars Petcare US—the parent company of Pedigree—is recalling 315 bags of Pedigree's Adult Complete Nutrition Grilled Steak & Vegetable Flavor Dry Dog Food in the 44-pound bag size. The reason? There may be a presence of loose metal pieces in the bags.
