Dog Dropping NHL Ceremonial Puck Is Better Than the Game Itself
This needs to happen at every game!
We found a new tradition that every National Hockey League team needs to do before each game. Why? Well, because it's simple, adorable and quite possibly the only way to bring in more fans! At least it would bring in us. LOL!
The Winnipeg Jets, an NHL team known on TikTok as @nhljets, are the ones who inspired this idea. They brought out one very special doggo to be involved with the game. This dog had the important job of dropping a ceremonial puck before the game began. And well, we're obsessed!

Aww! The best part about bringing out this dog for the puck drop was that it doubled as a way to raise awareness for the Toba Centre, a charitable organization that works with child abuse victims and children who have witnessed violent crimes, in Winnipeg, Canada. See? A win-win situation!
Plus, did you see how cute that doggo was?! "I would attend a hockey game simply to watch this," wrote @jodymacgillivray. SAME! And trust us, we definitely aren't the only ones. LOL! @bingingbookworm added, "Hockey players and a super cute doggo. I don't think it gets any better. Soo cute." We can confirm, it really doesn't get better than this!
"He looks at her like, 'Did I do a good job?'" said @unknown_name102. The dog did better than good. He was truly the best puck-dropper in all of history! They need to hire him full-time, just as long as the players are fine with a dog stealing the show every night. HA!
