Dog Dad Spending a Full Day With a South Carolina Shelter Pup Is Melting Hearts
According to the ASPCA, there are about 6.3 million animals that enter shelters each year. But with only 4.2 million getting adopted, these shelters are hitting their limits. The overcrowding in shelters is making it difficult for employees to give all animals the attention they deserve.
Luckily, there are volunteers like TikTok user @aguyandagolden who come in to give these shelter animals a break from the noise and small confined areas. This TikToker gave one of the South Carolina shelter dogs a fun-filled day and it's melting hearts.
