If you're someone who even occasionally explores BeautyTok, you've undoubtedly seen lots (like, looots) of review videos of the now-viral Laura Mercier Real Flawless Weightless Perfecting Foundation. The classic brand's latest 30-shade complexion offering has amassed more than 7.8 million views on TikTok through the "#LauraMercierFoundation" hashtag, but does the foundation live up to its hype? In short: Yes.

As someone who often reaches for tinted moisturizer rather than foundation due to my combination skin's sneaky dry patches, I was hesitant to try out this product. And I have very specific complexion product needs: I like my makeup to feel weightless and look like skin, but still offer medium-to-full coverage. This Laura Mercier formula checks all of my boxes.

The super lightweight liquid glides over skin effortlessly with the swipe of a dense brush or even your fingertips. Either tool also works well to blend and buff it out seamlessly, instantly minimizing the visibility of pores and fine lines with its blurring ingredient, bamboo silk powder. And although it's touted by the brand as an oil-controlling formula, I find that it doesn't exacerbate my dry patches at all; in fact, it remains just the right amount of glow-y throughout the day (with or without a finishing powder on top).

When I have more texture and dreaded breakouts to grapple with, this foundation remains in my makeup rotation because it's the ultimate non-crusty, natural-finish cover-up. The formula is on the thinner side, but is also intensely pigmented and pretty opaque, so I love to use it to spot cover.

I chose to wear this foundation to attend Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour" back in May. From my tears during the "Fearless" era to my sweat during the "Reputation" era, it didn't budge. Seriously — as I left the stadium, my makeup looked the same as it had when I left my apartment.

If it lasted through my evening with Taylor, it can probably withstand just about anything.
