Does Kourtney Kardashian Even Know What Revenge Is?

Kourtney Kardashian has had to handle the wrath of her sisters this season on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but this week, she was dead set on being the one to throw the punchline instead of having Kim and Khloé lob insults her way. How? With a flash mob. Confused? So are all the viewers.

In tonight's episode, it seems like all the familial drama between Kourtney and her sisters has been forgotten. It's a little strange, since there was no clear reconciliation, but viewers aren't unfamiliar with the family just moving on from conflict, no matter how bad the fights seem. Kourtney invites Kim to a dance class and she agrees to go. It seems like the sisters are back to being best pals, but when Kim gets to the class, she refuses to participate.

"I'm like a notorious non-dancer," Kim says. "Like, it's a thing."

Even though it's "a thing," Kourtney gets upset over the whole ordeal and decides that she has to get revenge. But it's clear that even after seasons and seasons of conflict and resolution, the eldest Kardashian isn't quite sure what revenge is, because her evil-villain caliber plan is to organize a flash mob.

Are you scratching your head yet? Because Kim is so anti-dance, Kourtney figures that making her watch a choreographed spectacular — not participate in one — is the perfect way to punish her for sitting out during a dance class. Fans were understandably confused, wondering just how a flash mob could do anything except remind someone that it's not 2012 anymore.

The whole thing goes down at The Grove, where Kim and Khloé are strolling and enjoying ice cream (Kim is, at least). Out of nowhere, the Pussycat Dolls' "Buttons" comes over the sound system and the flash mob gathers. Kim doesn't know what's going on and neither do the viewers, because there's no way this is punishment or revenge for anything at all.

Kourtney and Kardashian BFF Malika Haqq are in the mob and eventually, Khloé joins in, too. Kim, all alone with her ice cream (which never gets eaten, by the way) is stunned. And that's it. Kourtney thinks she's a revenge mastermind, laughing hysterically. Can someone please tell her that while her evil plan seemed well-intentioned, it definitely wasn't anyone's idea of revenge.
