Does JJ Die on Outer Banks Season 3?

Outer Banks season 3 has finally dropped on Netflix after a year and a half of anticipation, which means all the questions that have been swirling in our heads may finally be answered. Like past seasons of the action-packed show, the latest installment puts the Pogues in intense and dangerous positions as they get caught up in the race for valuable treasure and running from their nemeses who are seeking revenge.
In season 2, the Pogues come across several near-death situations and season 3 is no different. John B, Sarah, JJ, Kie, and Pope decide to ditch the island they wanted to call home, Poguelandia. The gang attempts to go back to their old lives in the Outer Banks, but the stillness doesn't last long. JJ (played by Rudy Pankow) tends to get into questionable and life-threatening predicaments because of his impulsive nature. Does JJ die in Outer Banks season 3?
Halfway through season 3, the Pogues head back to the Outer Banks to go back to their normal routines. That doesn't last long, though, because they're back to their adventurous habits once they discover that the Cross of Santo Domingo will pass through a train in the Outer Banks. Topper joins the Pogues (aside from John B) to take back the precious treasure and their plan seems to work at first — until the cops show up and begin chasing them down in their cars.
In an attempt to create a distraction and create a clean getaway, JJ zooms out in front of the cops on his dirt bike as Topper and the rest of the gang drive off in his truck. JJ's bike then crashed off the overpass, which led fans to believe that he died. Lucky for the JJ Hive, he survived as he hopped off the bike before it crashed — it was all part of his plan to outrun the law.
Throughout the rest of the season, JJ is alive and well, which means we'll likely see his return to season 4.
