It is important to note that Doctor Strange 2 cost approximately $200 million USD to produce. In pre-sales alone, the film raked in $65 million USD domestically. Currently The Batman stands as this year's largest opening weekend, hitting $134 million USD. Marvel's Spider-Man: No Way Home still ranks on top as the pandemic's biggest opening weekend with $260 million USD.
