So how does this guy work? If you already picked up on the fact that it's not a full-sized metal detector, good eye — it's only 9" long. It's meant to be used alongside a full-size detector to zero in on your booty's location. A metal detector will tell you it's close, but it can be hard to figure out exactly where. Ever noticed that treasure hunters have buff arms? It's from digging a lot of unnecessary holes. But when you've gotten "warm" in your metal search, then turn this on for a closer look, and its LED light, as well as a beeping sound and vibration will lead you to your prize.

There are two versions. One is partially waterproof, while the other is fully waterproof.
