Dixie D'Amelio is making a name for herself on the music scene. The TikTok darling just dropped her debut album, A Letter to Me, and is currently supporting Nickelodeon icons Big Time Rush as their opening act on their Forever Tour. Her new level of stardom also comes with a ton of new experiences — including her first long-form radio interview with fellow TikTok star and host of What's Poppin, Davis Burleson. Dixie sat down with Davis for SiriusXM's TikTok Radio show, where she dished about the message of her album and what it was like to adapt to fame in her late teens and early twenties.

"I think the biggest messaging throughout the whole thing is that I have no clue what I'm doing and I shouldn't 'cause I'm freaking 20 and we're all going through changes," Dixie explains. "I think a lot of people deal with that and not knowing what their life is and how it's going to be and when it's going to come together, but we're doing it and we're figuring it out."

Dixie also explained that while she felt a lot of pressure when she first came into the entertainment industry, all she can do is be proud of herself and how far she's come with her accomplishments, like touring with BTR. "Honestly they're more fun, they're more like [they acted on] the show than I thought they would be," Dixie said of the boy band, who she went on to call kind and down-to-earth. "I mean, you watch someone on TV and you never know what they're going to be like because it's obviously acting, but they're so nice."

Of course, with a rising music career comes the opportunity to collaborate with childhood heroes and other artists. Davis went on to ask Dixie if there are any female pop stars she'd love to collaborate with down the road. "Probably Miley Cyrus, I'd love to do something with her," Dixie dished. "That would be so cool, I love her. And like her whole rock thing, I think, is so cool." When asked what her favorite Miley music era is, Dixie revealed that she loves all of them and that she never really "got out of the Miley phase" of her life.

BRB, thinking of what a collab between these two could entail... the possibilities are endless. To hear more details on Dixie's music, what snacks she eats on tour, and what she loves about New York, catch her full interview with Davis below.
