Distillery holding special bourbon-tasting event all summer

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A local distillery known for its craft spirits and bar is holding an event where you can bottle your favorite bourbon.

Echo Spirits Distilling Co. is holding a Bottle Your Own Bourbon Whiskey experience through the summer at its distillery at 985 W. 6th Ave. Starting May 11, patrons can try different types of whiskey from Echo Spirits, all while touring the distillery.

Once you choose your favorite whiskey, you can fill your bottle. Echo Spirits will allow customers to see how the distillery tests its alcohol content and label their own bottles.

According to the event website, the experience is expected to last an hour. Tickets for the first event on May 11 are sold out but will be held on other dates including May 26 at noon and 8 p.m., along with June 8 and 22, July 13 and 27 and Aug. 10 and 24 at noon.

Tickets for the bourbon event are $80. It is all-inclusive and includes the bottle you will fill with your choice of bourbon. To buy tickets, click here.
