  • Disney is offering a "Disney Bedtime Hotline" at 1-877-7-MICKEY.

  • If you call, your kids can hear a special goodnight message from one of six different Disney characters.

  • The hotline will be in service until September 30, 2019.

Bedtime can often be a struggle with kids, who always want five more minutes to play, one more sip of water, one more story before bed, and so on until it's way past their bedtimes. And while they may not want to believe that it's time for lights-out, do you think they'd put up less of a fight if they heard it from Spider-Man?

Disney to the rescue. Call up Disney's Bedtime Hotline, and your kids will get to hear one of six special goodnight messages from their favorite characters: Mickey Mouse, Woody, Jasmine, Anna and Elsa, Yoda, or Spider-Man. Parents can tell their kids they'll make the call only when the PJs are on, the teeth are brushed, and they're in bed ready to turn out the light, and then marvel at how quickly the bedtime routine goes. (And, since there are six different possible characters, you can re-use the same trick night after night.)

So, how much does a fuss-free bedtime cost? For callers in the United States, the Disney Bedtime Hotline is completely free. The toll-free number is, appropriately, 1-877-7-MICKEY. There's even a way to get a goodnight via text message, if your kids already have the same phone-phobia that you do (thought text messaging/data rates would apply).

The catch: The phone number is only operational for an extremely limited time. If you want to take advantage of this sleeptime routine, you have to call before September 30, 2019.

The hotline is up and running to promote shopDisney's Bedtime Adventure Box, a subscription box that comes with Disney Store PJs, a bedtime storybook, stickers, a reward chart, and bedtime activity cards. (Though the only "bedtime activity" I'm really interested in is "go to sleep.") The deluxe version comes with an additional two or three items, which can include a pillow, blanket, towel, bath product or toy. In addition, each month, your child can choose from a few available characters and tailor the item in the box to his or her tastes. It certainly isn't free the way the hotline is — the boxes cost $27/box for the regular version and $55/box for the deluxe version — but it is a fun way to shake up a bedtime routine.
