Disneyland's 'Frozen' Dining Package Is A Must For Any Families Obsessed With Anna And Elsa

From Delish

In the lead-up to Frozen 2, Disneyland and Disney World have been celebrating the world of Arendelle with all sorts of Frozen-inspired treats. But if there's one experience the most devoted Frozen fans can't miss, it's Carthay Circle Restaurant's Frozen Dining Package.

The three-course lunch lets you live out the magic of the movie and dine in one of the coolest restaurants on the property. Outside and in, Carthay Circle looks like an old-school Hollywood theater—it's modeled after the real Hollywood theater where Walt Disney’s animated classic, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, debuted in 1937. For any serious Disney buffs, this restaurant is a must-visit.

The meal itself is fit for royalty: First, you get a little "overture." When we visited, the starter on the menu was Crème Fraiche Aebleskiver (a Danish pancake ball) with lingonberry jam. Then, a soup and salad are served, like the poblano chile-filled Chicken Tortilla Soup. From there, adults choose a main dish, like Kristoff's Catch of the Day or the Pan Roasted Petit Filet Mignon. The kids' menu offers soup, salad, and a selection of Disney Check Meals for the main, like mini crispy tacos or orecchiette pasta with tomato sauce.

As for dessert, that would be the Olaf-inspired creation you see above. Olaf's Summer Dream Vacation stacks light, fluffy cream puffs and tops 'em with chocolate twig arms and an Olaf white chocolate face to build a snowman you'll want to devour (sorry, buddy).

After you enjoy the food, you'll want to head over to the Hyperion. The price of lunch ($89 for adults, $45 for kids ages 3 to 9) includes a ticket and reserved seating to Frozen — Live at the Hyperion, a one-hour show with costumes, special effects, music numbers...the works!

Book tickets online today—the experience runs through January 6, 2020, for now!
