Disney loves modeling their menu favorites after Mickey Mouse. We've had marshmallows, ice cream bars, and even cheeseburgers crafted to resemble the iconic character. But now the beloved theme park has taken things one step further by topping a certain curry rice recipe with a Mickey-shaped egg.

I mean, it's confusing. The boiled egg, which is available at Disneyland Tokyo btw, has a mouse-shaped yolk. So naturally, I've got questions. Namely, HOW!? Seriously, someone (anyone!) explain this to me. Do the chickens in Japan just lay them this way? According to POPSUGAR, the dish is available at the Plazma Ray's Diner along with other rice bowls, Mickey glove-shaped sandwiches, desserts, and more. But why would you go and get anything but this????

We weren't the only ones totally perplexed by the curry rice topping. Fans flooded the comment section with questions. "Wait, what?! This is crazy cool!" one user wrote on Instagram. "What is this magic?!" another asked.

According to Sora News 24, that's exactly what Disney is claiming: magic. A cast member reportedly replied to an online query by claiming the eggs in Toontown arrive like this. But we're realists here, so obviously we must know the truth.

Though we haven't received any real confirmation from Disneyland Tokyo, the outlet claims a Japanese machine is used to create the Mickey-shaped yolks. "The yolks and white of multiple eggs can be manhandled into tube form, and it's only a small step from this to making other designs like the Mickey [egg]," outlet reports. There you have it.

Sadly the crazy culinary innovation hasn't arrived at any U.S. parks, but we've got plenty of festive sweets to fill the void.
