Disney-themed dream house for sale in Florida must be seen to be believed
So you think you’re a true Disney fanatic? If you’re the type who has a season pass ready every year to enter the Magic Kingdom — and have a little cash on hand to spare — you can actually purchase a nifty version of your own little “happiest place on earth.”
A house in Windermere, Fla., which sits just three miles north of Disney World, is currently on the market for $888,000. It’s a nice-sized place (seven bedrooms, six baths at 4,822 square feet), with a lake view. However, it is its over-the-top, floor-to-ceiling Disney decor that has to be seen to be believed.
It’s hard to fathom what the house looks like on the inside, based solely on its very normal-looking exterior.
But just wait until you take a look inside.
Every room pays homage to beloved Disney characters, with each bedroom and bathroom decked out in a particular movie’s theme.
There’s even a room dedicated solely to Disney villains!
And, of course, what would any proper Disney house be without its very own year-round Disney Christmas-themed room?
Amusingly, the listing on Zillow sticks to a dry description of the home, confining to basic facts such as “large kitchen great for entertaining” (and by the way, yes, the kitchen has a Disney theme too), and “wonderful views over the lake.”
Its one concession to the unusual decor? “Almost every room has a Magical Theme.” Talk about an understatement.
According to local news, both the house and its owners are popular in the neighborhood, and residents say they’re sorry to see them leave. But, it’s a small world after all, so hopefully, they will be able to stay in touch!
