Disney Is Selling Fries Topped With Lobster Bisque Cheese Sauce And It Looks Like Forkfuls Of Heaven
There's hardly anything you could put on top of fries that I wouldn't eat. Whether it's sweet or savory, they're only going to make crispy, fried potatoes better. But leave it to Disney to discover the most delicious, over-the-top way to better French fries.
The Epcot Festival of the Arts is going on right now at Disney World and there's a whole lot of deliciousness on the menu, the top of which is this Lobster Poutine. We first saw this dish thanks to some glorious photos from Disney Food Blog since they were lucky enough to try it for themselves. The dish is made with fries topped with lobster, lobster bisque cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, and citrus cream, for a creation that looks like forkfuls of heaven.
Of course, the blog had rave reviews for the poutine, saying that it was the perfect mix of creamy and hearty, while also getting a kick from the peppers. "[This] portion is GINORMOUS and actually…heavy? We were surprised by the weight when the Cast Member handed it to us! It’s served warm with TONS of lobster. This eat is a surefire way to get your money’s worth."
If you're hitting up the festival (which goes until February 22), you can expect to pay $10.50 for the poutine, which seems like a steal for all this glorious food. They also suggested you pair it with a drink like Barrel of Monks Brewing Raspberry Beret and Spottswoode Sauvignon Blanc, both of which are also available at the Refreshment Port. Lobster, fries, cheese, and booze?? Sounds like a perfect meal to us!
