Disney Officially Opens Reservations for its Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Disney Parks are about to get a whole lot more magical.

Recently, Disney announced the official re-opening date of its Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique would be Aug. 25. And today, the park confirmed on Twitter that it would finally open reservations for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations in Walt Disney World Florida and Disneyland in California.

"Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is reopening August 25 at Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland Park, and reservations for both start later TODAY! Reservations will open on http://DisneyWorld.com no earlier than 1 p.m. ET, and http://Disneyland.com no earlier than 10 a.m. PT."

The is the first time in almost three years that Disney will open the salon experience to its guests, after the park temporarily closed the boutiques in an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 back in March of 2020.

For those who need a refresher on the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience, consider it your very own Princess Diaries moment.

Kids walk into the salon as they would normally, and after a few magic brushstrokes (which times out to be a 30 to 60 minutes ordeal depending on the package), they walk out as their favorite princess, fairy, knight–you get the idea.

After the news was announced, Disney fans had trouble containing their excitement.

One was at a complete loss for words and simply shared gifs of Disney's iconic fireworks shows.

While another user took the opportunity to spread some more joy and share their family's memories at a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique almost 15 years ago.

"We got our daughter a Cinderella princess makeover on her birthday at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique when she turned 5, and it was worth every penny. That was many years ago, though. She'll be turning 20 next month," the heartfelt post read.
