More release date changes were announced as the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes persist, and this time, Disney has taken the stage to declare that Elio and Snow White are among the latest set for delays.

With an original release date of March 1, 2024, Elio takes a big blow, now not due to hit the big screen until June 13, 2025.

The film follows Elio, voiced by Yonas Kibreab, as he struggles to fit in until he is transported by aliens and becomes the chosen one to be Earth's galactic ambassador, while his mother, Olga, works on the top secret project to decode alien messages.

Elio also stars America Ferrera as Olga, Jameela Jamil as Ambassador Questa and Brad Garrett as Ambassador Grigon. It will be the second film from Adrian Molina, who co-directed Coco.

Audiences will also have to wait to see Rachel Zegler's turn as the original Disney princess, Snow White, as the film initially set to hit theaters on March 22, 2024, will now land on March 21, 2025.

Written by Erin Cressida Wilson and Barbie's Greta Gerwig, the film is a modern live-action twist on the 1937 Disney animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Gal Gadot is set to star alongside Zegler in the role of the Evil Queen, with Andrew Burnap, Ansu Kabia and Colin Michael Carmichael also joining the cast.

Snow White is directed by Marc Webb, whose previous credits include The Amazing Spider-Man, (500) Days of Summer and Gifted.
