  • Disney is delaying the release of three movies because of Coronavirus concerns: Mulan, New Mutants and Antlers

  • For now, it's not clear when these movies will hit screens.

The Coronavirus has delayed or canceled a number of events and productions. Some of Disney's highly-anticipated new movies have joined that growing list. Disney announced it's delaying a number of its movies, including the live-action remake of Mulan, as well as New Mutants and Antlers, according to Variety. Mulan was set to be released toward the end of March in North America and has already been postponed in China.

According to The Verge, New Mutants has already been postponed a few times since it began production back in 2016. It was delayed twice to avoid competition with other Marvel films, and there were concerns at one point that the movie would be shelved entirely.

Disney's Black Widow is still set to be released in May, according to The Verge, but that could still change as events unfold. And it's not just movies that Disney has put on hold due to Coronavirus concerns. Disney theme parks in the U.S. have also been temporarily closed.

Disney isn't alone in its concerns. Riverdale also shut down production after a member of its production team had been in contact with someone who tested positive for the virus. As of right now, it's unclear when production will resume or how this will affect the rest of season four.

Billie Eilish has postponed some of her March tour dates and BTS has canceled their Korean tour dates because of Coronavirus as well.
