Two French dining establishments in Palm Beach are set to host wine dinners in the coming days, one May 26 and the other May 30.

Sunday’s affair is at La Goulue, 288 S. County Road, starting at 3:45 p.m. and featuring winery Domaine Michel Mallard from France’s Ladoix-Serrigny region.

Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a glass of Perrier Jouët Blanc de Blancs as sommelier Xavier To Van Trang begins orchestrating the evening.

Food-and-wine pairings will start with escargot flatbread served with Sancerre Riffault. Red burgundy poured from a 3-liter jeroboam of Ladoix Premier Cru will be served with prime rib, followed by a Fonseca 1970 served with a cheese plate.

Classic crêpes Suzette is planned for dessert, prepared and served tableside with a tasting of Château d’Yquem 1993.

La Goulue’s wine dinner is $185 a person, plus tax and gratuity. For reservations or more information, call La Goulue at 561-284-6292.

Meanwhile, the May 30 wine dinner takes place at Café Boulud at The Brazilian Court, 301 Australian Ave.

“An Evening in Italy” will feature pours from southern Italy’s Mastroberardino Winery, established in 1878.

A 6:45 p.m. reception with Mastroberardino Nova Serra Greco di Tufo 2022 and tuna tartare will precede a four-course dinner at 7 p.m.

Wines planned for the evening have been chosen by the French-American restaurant’s sommelier, David Sauer, who will share insights at the event.

Dinner begins with sea scallops with citrus, peas and almond vinaigrette paired with Mastroberardino Radici Fiano di Avellino 2021.

Mastroberardino Radici Taurasi Riserva 2015 will be served with the second course: cheese ravioli with caciocavallo silano, spigarello and leek.

The third course will pair Mastroberardino Naturalis Historia Taurasi 2015 with roast duck with honey-hazelnut crust and stone fruit.
