Disabled Foster Cats Form 'Blind and Wobbly Alliance' Before Finding the Perfect Forever Home

Special needs pets can be some of the most loving animals out there.

Special needs pets don't always get the credit and praise they deserve for navigating life in their own ways. They take challenges in stride and find ways to make the most out of every day with their loved ones. Just look at Orbit and Gili--two disabled cats who met and bonded in foster care before finding the perfect home together.

The kitties' foster mama, @meganandtherescues, posted the sweetest, most beautifully-crafted video in celebration of them finding their forever home. As she says in the video's description, "these are the days that remind me why I do what I do."

Aww! Orbit and Gili seem like a match made in kitty heaven--special needs and all. We felt emotional just watching a short video of those two bonding, so we can only imagine how magical the experience was for Megan. She truly helped both of these fur babies feel safe, loved, and confident!

"Please make this into a children's book," wrote commenter @gardennewbie. "It's perfect." Honestly, we couldn't agree more! So many kids and adults alike would find inspiration in this precious story. Whether it's through Megan teaching the cats what love looks like, or Orbit realizing that his blindness is his superpower, there are so many uplifting lessons to be found here.

Viewer @minervajean knows exactly what we mean! She said, "I'm not disabled, my body and mind have powers that this earthly realm can't contain." Say it louder for everyone in the back! That's precisely the kind of magic a story like this can make. We sure hope to see a children's book about Orbit and Gili very soon!
