Dior Home Is Here (and It’s Exquisite, Obviously)
If there’s one thing we can’t resist, it’s splurging on pretty things for the home. Get those credit cards ready because Dior has launched its first-ever home range, and, naturally, it’s heavenly. Yes, the French fashion house has opened the doors of a lavish new shop in London’s Mayfair, along with an entire new lifestyle section known as Dior Maison.
Marking the first time Dior has released an in-house home collection, the range is just as elegant and exquisite as the luxe label’s fashion and beauty offerings.
Included in the collection are embroidered bed linens, pink crystal glassware, and beautifully designed plates. The line is the result of a number of collaborations with some of the best designers and artists globally. Look for pieces created by the likes of Véronique Taittinger, Jérémy Maxwell, and Jérôme Faillant-Dumas.
Faillant-Dumas told Dior Mag, “What interests me most in this collaboration is that my creations are Dior in their essence, something that goes beyond a signature. That for me is the real accomplishment of an object: its identity.”
Maxwell said of his inspiration, “The colors on the mood board: pink, midnight blue, grey and white. The midnight blue being a royal color, I decided that the craftsmanship would be royal.”
With prices starting at about $110, we may all be able to treat ourselves to a designer tumbler.
