Dior Drops $10,500 Surfboard
Surfing…so hot right now.
As previously reported, iconic French fashion house, Dior, recently collaborated with Orange County, CA surf brand, Vissla, to create a $3,300 wetsuit.
And now, they’ve got a surfboard to go along with it. The price? $10,500.

“Dior unveils an exclusive collaboration with the French brand Notox, presenting a surfboard that combines technical expertise, couture spirit and respect for the environment. Handcrafted in the heart of the Basque Country, Europe's surf capital, the board is made from responsible local resources like organic materials and a low-solvent resin that demonstrates Dior and Notox's shared commitment to the environment and oceans. The style is available in elegant matte gray and is embellished with the Dior signature and a motif that celebrates the bewitching beauty of the aquatic world, an underwater snapshot revisited in an oversized interpretation on the top. The progressive shape of the board guarantees performance under any condition, while its Diamond tail eases maneuverability through waves. Accompanied by a set of accessories including two fins, a leash, a cover and a display stand, the board can be paired with DIOR AND VISSLA wetsuits.”
Although the board is, as expected, built more for fashion over function, it actually still goes. It’s like a mid-length or a funboard design with a twin fin setup. The dims come in at about 6’ 9” x 20 ½” x 3”. Not your average high-performance surfboard; but not an absolutely unusable wall-hanger and/or beginner board either.
And of course, it has a diamond tail.
