Dionne Warwick Roasts The Weeknd & Chance the Rapper in a Perfect Twitter Thread

On Saturday, Dionne Warwick decided to put her Twitter account to good use by asking some important questions of famous musicians in the industry. She started off by asking, "Hi, @chancetherapper. If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this." She followed her post up by tweeting, "I am now Dionne the Singer." And she didn't stop there.

Having already quizzed Chance the Rapper, Warwick moved on to The Weeknd. "The Weeknd is next," she tweeted. "Why? It’s not even spelled correctly?" In another tweet she wrote, "If you have 'The' in your name i’m coming for you. I need answers today."

Chance the Rapper couldn't seem to believe that Warwick was tweeting about him and wrote, "Sorry I’m still freaking out that u know who I am. This is amazing!" She responded, "Of course I know you. You’re THE rapper. Let’s rap together. I’ll message you." This was after she'd announced, "'Holy' by Justin the Bieber @justinbieber and @chancetherapper is one of my favorite songs right now."

Hilariously, when a fan said, "Ms. Dionne, give me your phone!!!!," Warwick posted a brilliant GIF of one of the Teletubbies running away into the distance.

When Warwick was ready to wrap up the discourse, she simply tweeted, "Okay, I am going to watch Lucifer now. Bye!" A queen is in our midst! And as for The Weeknd, we're still waiting for answers...
