Dionne Warwick has been forced to cancel an upcoming concert as the result of a personal medical incident, new reports reveal.

The 82-year-old singer was supposed to perform in Des Plaines, Illinois later this month, but a new announcement has let fans know that the concert will not be happening anymore.

A message was sent out from the venue, Rivers Casino Des Plaines, on Thursday, June 15, to deliver the unfortunate news to fans and provide some information about refunds.

"We regret to inform you that the Dionne Warwick performance on June 24, 2023 at Rivers Casino Des Plaines has been cancelled due to a medical incident," read the e-mail, a copy of which was obtained by TMZ.

"All ticket purchases will receive a full refund," the note also states. "Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you at another event in the future."

According to the outlet, the iconic "Walk On By" songstress said she began having issues with one of her legs on Thursday. Though she didn't provide much detail about her condition, it is presumably serious enough to cause her to cancel the show altogether.

But luckily, Warwick told TMZ she is already on the mend, and just needs a little more time to get back to her regular self and perform on stage for her fans.

Despite the disappointing news, fans are still sending their love to the music legend, with many wishing her a speedy recovery in messages on Twitter.

"please rest, take care" one fan tweeted on Thursday, while another fan implored, "Get Well Dionne."
