The Grammy Award-winning singer made a bid to appear on the show.

The iconic Dionne Warwick used Twitter as a unique way to audition for the new reboot of the game show Password, and fans are anxiously awaiting a response from the show.

The "That's What Friends Are For" singer shared a throwback clip of when she appeared on Super Password, hoping it might help convince host Keke Palmer, who Warwick directly addressed in the post, to have her on Password.

She wrote in the update, "Hey @KekePalmer. I hear Password is back. Here’s my audition."

In the nostalgic video, a young Warwick guested on Super Password, a series of the same concept that ran from 1984 to 1989, following both the original Password and the first revival, Password Plus.

It's unclear what year the video's from, as Warwick appeared 19 times, but it seems like this episode was particularly fruitful for the singer.

In the clip, Warwick worked with her partner to guess the "super password." Based on his clues, she guessed "sidewalk" and "chalk" and was able to figure out that the super password was "hopscotch."

The host, Bert Convy, was amazed at Warwick's ability to guess the answer with so few clues, and she seemed equally stunned.

Clearly, Warwick has a knack for the game, meaning she would be a perfect candidate for celebrity guest in the new series.

Many fans agreed with Warwick, tweeting Palmer in the comments and saying things like, "We need to make this happen. Asap.," and "This NEEDS to happen!!!!"

Another fan of both Warwick and Palmer went even further, suggesting that the latter play Warwick in a biopic. They wrote, "Like Queen Mother Dionne, Keke is beautiful and can sing! And the smiles of both ladies, light up the screen. Think on it."

The first season of the Password reboot ended with the finale on Sept. 14, and NBC has yet to announce a second season.

Fingers crossed they do, and that Warwick is one of the first celebrity guests announced.
