The snack brand is fusing the chocolatey goodness of Ding Dongs with the sweet spongecake of Twinkies, introducing Ding Dongs x Twinkies Mashups.
Bringing fans the best of both worlds, the cake marries vanilla and chocolate, making it the perfect option for lovers of either iconic flavor.

Ding Dongs x Twinkies Mashups will come in a 10-count multi-pack and are starting to arrive on shelves at Walmart stores nationwide this month. The snack is said to be a permanent addition to Hostess’ portfolio, so no need to fret on rushing out to try to get your hands on a limited-edition release.
“It’s so important for us to be focused on our portfolio transformation,” Hostess CEO Andy Callahan said in an interview earlier this year.
“We’re well positioned as a value product, and history has shown that we hold up well and also better than most during difficult economic times,” Callahan added, noting the company’s iconic Twinkie was actually launched during the Great Depression as an affordable snack.
The Kansas-based corporation also recently debuted Kazbars, a candy-bar-inspired treat, and Bouncers, tiny versions of Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Donettes.
