Dilly Buttermilk Dressing
Pickles are the ultimate flavor booster: they’re salty, savory, and tangy. Eat them on their own and they’re a satisfying snack. Add them to a hot dog and they complement the buttery flavor. Or, mix them into a creamy homemade dressing and you’ve got a result so delicious you’ll want to eat it by the spoonful. This dressing, lightly flecked with herbs and pickle pieces, is bright and herbal. It’s pretty on lettuce leaves or as a dip for vegetables (which are really just a vehicle for the dressing). It makes a fantastic sandwich or burger topper or try stirring it into slaw, egg salad, or even deviled eggs.
