Diet Coke, Fanta & Sprite Recalled Due to Possible Foreign Matter Contamination

There’s a recall affecting multiple Coca-Cola products, according to the Food and Drug Administration. This is due to a possible foreign material contamination.

The recall is currently impacting Alabama, Florida and Mississippi. The following products are affected:

  • 12-packs of Diet Coke packaged in 12-ounce aluminum cans with lot number JUL2924MBD3, UPC 49000028911 and a best by date of 01/29/24

  • 12-packs of Fanta Orange packaged in 12-ounce aluminum cans with lot number JUL2924MBD3, UPC 49000030730 and a best by date of 07/29/24

  • 12-packs of Sprite packaged in 12-ounce aluminum cans with lot number JUL2924MBD3, UPC 49000028928 and a best by date of 07/29/24

The FDA report was initially filed on November 6 and was made by United Packers. Check your soda’s package, and if it matches the recall information, dispose of it immediately or return it to the place of purchase and request a refund.
