Someone isn't going to make it out of The White Lotus alive.

The season finale of the runaway hit HBO series airs this Sunday, and fans are eager to find out which character meets their fate. During the show's premiere episode, the first few minutes confirm (through an airport gate conversation between an unsuspecting older couple and Shane, played by Jake Lacy) that someone was indeed killed at the luxury Hawaiian resort, and based on Shane's reaction to a body bag being loaded onto his flight, he knows who.

Plenty of theories have begun circulating on social media regarding which character is doomed. Could it be the resort employee Kai, who just ran away with $75,000 worth of jewelry from the Mossbacher family's hotel room safe? Or is it the black sheep of the bunch, Quinn, who has been fighting for his family's attention all vacation long? Maybe it's Shane's new wife, Rachel, considering she's not with Shane at the airport as he prepares to head back to the mainland.

Following Sunday's season finale, it turned out to be the resort manager Armand who didn't make it to the episode's end. After going on another bender (after learning that he's ultimately going to be fired) and sneaking into Shane and Rachel's suite for a last minute dose of debauchery, he ends up being accidentally stabbed by Shane himself and dying (somewhat peacefully) in the hotel bathtub.

Aside from Armond's death in The White Lotus's season finale, it may be the literal end of the road for the entire Season 1 cast of eclectic characters. According to Variety, HBO has picked up the show for a second season, but with a totally new location and an entirely fresh set of vacationers. The second season is set to follow "a different group of vacationers as they jet to another White Lotus property and settle in temporarily amongst its inhabitants," according to HBO.
