Nothing says "happy Fourth" like a red, white, and blue popsicle from an ice cream truck dripping down your hand. And because Taylor Swift is the unofficial queen of July 4th, the Speak Now songstress did just that.

While celebrating the holiday—at her annual Fourth of July bash, of course—Swift shared an iconic Bomb Pop with her bestie, Selena Gomez.

"Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies 😎," she wrote on Instagram, just hours after releasing her latest album re-record, Speak Now (Taylor's Version).

In another pic shared in her Instagram carousel, Swift stuck her tongue out alongside several bikini-clad pals. Este, Alana, and Danielle Haim were there, alongside Taylor's longtime friend Ashley Avignone and her brother's reported girlfriend, Sydney Ness.

Taylor has long been known for her Independence Day parties, which often take place at her humble (read: not humble at all, it's a beachfront mansion) Rhode Island home and are brimming with celebs like Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Gigi Hadid, and Cara Delevingne.

And while, sure, "Taymerica" 2023 (her branding, not mine) was a bit more low-key than in years past, at least Swift is back to her roots: throwing the red, white, and blue bash.

Haim re-shared the post, but with the pointed caption, "Single Summer." Yes, we *are* looking at you, Joe! And yes, we (me, it's me!) are speculating he's the reason our girl Tay took such a long hiatus from the annual July 4th festivities.

Fans seemingly agreed. "[You know] that Taylor's back to her old self when the fourth of july posts come back," one wrote, while another added, "I was sooo sure Taylor would throw a party now that she can enjoy again her fame without guilt." TEA.
