Cheong-san had several brushes with death through the action-packed series, but he was bitten and ultimately infected by his former classmate Gwi-nam. When a pack of zombies attempts to prey on his friends, Cheong-san sacrifices himself by drawing the pack away from his besties.

While his friends safely escaped, the South Korean military dropped a bomb on the school and Cheong-san's body was seen among the dead zombies. While it appears as though he died, fan theories emerged questioning if that's really true.

One viewer suggests that Cheong-san got the ultimate revenge on Gwi-nam, and actually survived. "I saw that theory on tiktok omg what if cheong-san is alive, like i thought he saved gwi-nam from the fire but he made gwi-nam as his shield and remember what nam-ra said before she jump?? she said that there are hambie or half zombies there and ++."

Other fans agreed.

Will Lee Cheong-san return for season two?

Netflix hasn't officially confirmed if All Of Us Are Dead will be greenlit for another season, but due to its massive success, it seems very likely. If the show does come back, director Lee Jae-kyoo has an idea of what he'd like the new season to be about.

During an interview with The Korean Herald, Lee revealed, "Many directions, settings, and scenes were intentionally produced to expand the story into an additional season, including the introduction of the new races of zombies." He added, "If the first season can be seen as having presented humanity‘s survival, the next season can talk about the survival of zombies. I hope to present viewers with another season."

We can only hope that Lee Cheong-san will be one of the zombies trying to adjust to life after the outbreak.
