Did Kim Kardashian Just Unfollow Everyone on Instagram? Here’s What We Know

Fans are speculating that the star went on an unfollowing spree — here's the truth.

Imagine waking up one morning and opening up Instagram to find that all the people you've followed since downloading the app have mysteriously been unfollowed. Sounds like a scary scenario, right? Well, as of yesterday, this has been Kim Kardashian West's reality.

On Wednesday evening, fans noticed that the star was suddenly following no one, including all of her family members, close friends, and the brands she's worked with for years. People couldn't help but wonder what had happened, and if a scandal was involved, but it turns out, Kardashian West has about as good an idea as we do.

The KKW Beauty founder took to Twitter to express her confusion and frustration over the situation, writing, "OMG what???? What’s going on????" She also posted an Instagram Story explaining that she has no clue what happened and that she's going to do her best to remember everyone she was following before to add them back. And she shut down rumors that she had gone on a deleting spree, tweeting, "No way! We’re working on figuring out what happened but I will start following people back if I can remember everyone."

But it appears the mom of three has been having difficulty adding folks back. "I tried following people again and now looks like at 0 again," she tweeted early Thursday morning. However, as of now, it seems she was able to follow 53 people, including some of her closest friends and family, and of course, KKW Beauty.

There's still no explanation regarding what happened and how, but we expect Instagram is looking into the incident and will report back when it has an answer.
