We're talking about going back in our minds and remembering the exact moment you felt like a film (which was initially mostly realistic), completely abandoned reality and did a full 180 on you.

"Why?" I hear you ask. Because I spent the other evening lost in a Twitter thread watching endless hilarious clips of the times the Fast & Furious franchise did exactly that!

Whilst we all now know that abandoning reality is a running theme in the popular movie chain (which has become more self-aware with each new release), it's side-splitting seeing the different contributions from fans at which ONE moment stood out to them as the critical driver in answering this question.

For me, I can deal with the exaggerated and over-the-top action sequences, along with the constant reminders of Vin Diesel's apparent driving purpose (family...of course) — which is mentioned in absolutely any scenario.

So this got me thinking, what other movies out there have slipped up with random or unbelievable moments?

Could Indiana Jones be added to the list for the time in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in which the archeologist and adventurer survived a planned nuclear detonation by hiding in a fridge? Without so much as a concussion?!

And I hate to be the one to bring it up again, but what about the fact that Rose didn't even TRY to see if Jack could fit on the door in Titanic?

Tell us about the one moment you well and truly realized a film had abandoned any reality it was hoping to achieve in the comments below, and you could be featured in a BuzzFeed Community post!
