It looks like there’s no bad blood, just mad love between the singer and the brand.

It’s summertime, which means ‘tis the season for Dairy Queen Blizzards. The chain released a new Cake Batter Cookie Dough Blizzard as its July Blizzard of the Month in addition to its entire lineup of summer Blizzard treats. But a new Instagram post by DQ got us briefly intrigued about the possibility of a new Taylor Swift-inspired flavor.

On July 7, the same day Swift released the rerecorded version of her 2010 album, "Speak Now," Dairy Queen posted the below photo with the caption “Treat Now.” The pink blizzard studded with pink and purple sprinkles is draped in a floaty purple material as a nod to the "Speak Now" album cover.

Is this a sign that DQ has made a new Blizzard celebrating the music icon? Sadly, no. The featured blizzard is the Cotton Candy Blizzard that’s part of the summer Blizzard menu. According to Dairy Queen, the Cotton Candy Blizzard “blends colorful cotton candy sprinkles with our iconic world-famous soft serve for a sweet, fun, and lighthearted experience.”

Despite the fact that the Blizzard isn’t new, Dairy Queen fans are tickled by the post. Commenters said, “Using my favorite blizzard while giving a shout out to Taylor Swift?! I couldn’t love you more,” and, “You are so real for this dq 💜.” Plus, many took the opportunity to riff on the brand’s caption, saying “Treat Now (DQ Version)” as a nod to Swift’s rerecorded song titles.

The brand continued the fun on Twitter, using the same image with a side-eye induction caption: “if your name is John…blocked and reported.”
