*Major spoilers for Selena: The Series below!*

Fans of Selena: The Series had a lot to be surprised about in part two of the series, based off the iconic Tejano singer as she recorded her first English album. While the second part of the show gave us more of a look at Selena Quintanilla's life like we've never seen before, there was one scene involving one of the biggest names in pop music today that had people talking.

In the part two episode six, a young girl can be seen with her mom and sister shopping at a nearby mall. However, she gets a bit starstruck when she notices Selena walking past her. The mom pushes her to introduce herself and says, "Beyoncé Knowles, you better learn not to be afraid of people if you ever wanna be famous too."

That's right, Beyoncé. So this moment actually happen in real life? Or was it just added for a dramatic affect?

Well, it actually happened. In fact, Beyoncé talked about it in an interview with MTV tr3s where she said she met her at The Galleria mall in Houston, Texas.

"But I didn't say much to Selena because I wasn't a celebrity and I just say her and said 'hello' and kept it moving. Definitely, growing up in Texas, I heard her on the radio," she said. "I think she is a legend and I admire her. And she was so talented. So I'm very happy that [I met her] even though she didn't know who I was. I'm still excited that I got that opportunity."

Now it's our turn to be starstruck in front of Beyoncé if we ever get the chance.
