Dick Van Dyke has no plans to slow down, despite turning 98 in three days' time.

The Mary Poppins star made that abundantly clear in a new Instagram post promoting his upcoming name day special. Alongside a video of Van Dyke cheerfully dancing with a cane, the caption read: "Just keep moving."

The message continued, "Dick’s secrets to living well: Positivity, don’t go down the stairs sideways, and just keep moving!"

Fans were certainly moved by the message, with many of them taking to the comments section to sing the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang star's praises.

"He looks fantastic," one fan penned. "I like his philosophy. He is certainly doing something right. I have so much love, admiration and respect for him and all he's done for the world. He is a bright light in a world that can be so dark. So grateful for the joy he brings to the world."

Another chimed in, "How lucky are we to witness this amazing man on his 98th birthday 🥳 Love you DVD❣️."

Van Dyke is set to be honored in a two-hour special, titled Dick Van Dyke 98 Years of Magic. According to CBS, the upcoming television event will honor the longtime entertainer's "incredible contributions to the arts and entertainment."

In response to news of the special, Van Dyke noted back in November, "I started with CBS under contract in 1955 with the CBS morning show, then The Dick Van Dyke Show and Diagnosis Murder. I've been with the CBS family for almost 70 years, and I couldn't be prouder. I'm incredibly honored that CBS will be throwing a 98th birthday special for me. Can't wait to be part of the show!"

For those eager to tune in, the special will air on CBS, as well as stream live and on-demand via Paramount+, on Thursday, Dec. 21, at 9 p.m. ET, one week after Van Dyke's big birthday.
