‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ Will Ring In 2024 With Rita Ora, Ryan Seacrest & More

The new year is just around the corner — and “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” is returning to celebrate the occasion with an array of star hosts.
To ring in 2024, Ryan Seacrest will host the annual occasion to celebrate New Year’s Eve on Dec. 31. The special will begin airing at 8:00 p.m. EST on ABC, broadcast live from Times Square — where Seacrest will be joined by singer Rita Ora for the annual countdown to midnight on Jan. 1.

However, the special will include settings outside of New York City. In Hollywood, Jeannie Mai will be co-hosting live in the Pacific Time Zone, while Dayanara Torres will co-host from Puerto Rico in the Atlantic Time Zone.
At this time, the performers for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” have not been announced. However, if previous years are any indication, the musical and onstage appearances are sure to be a star-studded affair; in 2023, the event included musical sets from Chelsea Cutler, Duran Duran, Ava Max and J-Hope. Miley Cyrus has also made waves with her viral “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party” special on NBC in 2022 and 2023, which included performances by Sia, Paris Hilton, Dolly Parton, Noah Cyrus, Saweetie and more; currently, the special is not slated to return for 2024.
As in previous years, “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” is also sure to draw high viewership — which has made the special the top New Year’s Eve program for over 30 years, according to a brand statement. In 2023, the special drew 13.8 viewers, with 17.9 viewers total tuning in during the midnight quarter-hour.
