She stepped out for a rare date night with Norman Reedus.

Diane Kruger and her fiancé, Norman Reedus, are a notoriously private couple, but the duo just surprised fans with a very fashionable date night in New York City.

On Thursday, the couple was photographed walking hand-in-hand on the red carpet at the New York City Ballet's 2023 Fall Fashion Gala, and for the occasion, the actress effortlessly shimmered in a custom white Givenchy gown. The floor-sweeping, silky gown featured a stunning pearl-and-diamond-embossed bodice, a draped neckline, and billowing sleeves with shoulder cutouts. A smattering of diamond rings, silver pearl drop earrings, and a sequined clutch rounded out her formal look.

Beauty-wise, she styled her blonde hair into a sleek low bun with side-swept bangs, while rosy cheeks, glossy pink lips, and copper eye shadow finished off her glam.

Norman, for his part, looked dapper with a twist of grunge in a black velvet suit paired with a coordinating silk bow tie. He styled his signature long hair with tousled waves and completed his look with black patent-leather dress shoes.

The public sighting was rare for the couple, who live a relatively low-key life with their 4-year-old daughter, Nova. Back in 2019, Kruger opened up why she fights hard to keep her family out of the spotlight during an interview with BuzzFeed.

"I didn't know I was going to feel so strongly about it before I had [my daughter] but as I was coming back from The Operative and I was very heavily pregnant, I felt like I was under siege," she explained. "There's paparazzi constantly in front of our house. Grown men followed me around while I was heavily pregnant, and as soon as she was born, putting her in the stroller and going around, there's just people shouting at her and us, following us in cars."

Kruger continued, "It just feels like such an invasion of privacy and I don't want her to grow up like this. I want her to be able to go to the park and be anonymous and choose her own life. So we decided we're going to be very private."
