Every season, fashion brands work to secure familiar faces for their ad campaigns. Calvin Klein nearly broke the internet with its Jeremy Allen White spot for Spring 2024, but Saint Laurent might have it beat for most major, unexpected booking with its seasonal muse: Diana Ross.

Artistic Director Anthony Vaccarello teased the campaign, which was photographed by David Sims, on his Instagram on Monday. In that first image, Ross poses glamorously in a classic black halter-neck dress, her curls wind-swept curls and her makeup minimal. The music icon brings a timeless essence to the Spring 2024 ad, perfectly matching the brand's inherently elegant nature.

Ross has been a longtime friend of the brand — and of its founder, Yves. She's worn the label since the '70s, having attended its shows in Paris and donned it on the Studio 54 dance floor.

In 2003, Ross attended the Met Gala in a sultry red gown designed by Tom Ford for the house, interpreting the "Goddess: The Classical Mode" theme.

Her campaign placement only continues to prove the unbreakable bond between Ross and the French fashion label.
