Congratulations are officially in order for Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker. People has confirmed that the couple welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Rocky Thirteen Barker on Wednesday, Nov. 1, at a hospital in Los Angeles.
Though the pair have yet to confirm baby Rocky’s arrival themselves, Kardashian did give Rocky a sweet, subtle mention in a Nov. 15 birthday tribute on Instagram dedicated to her husband. Sharing a series of photos together, Kardashian captioned the post: “To my husband, my soulmate, my best friend, my lover, my daddy to our baby boy, my everything… I wish you the happiest birthday. You make all of my dreams come true and I feel so blessed to have you by my side. I love you beyond words, forever.”
For his part, Barker had already alluded to their name choice before their little one was born. In an episode of Complex’s Goat Talk in July 2023, Travis and his daughter Alabama, 16, discussed potential baby names. “I like Rocky 13,” the Blink-182 drummer said. “That’s just the name that’s been going through my head. Rocky George played guitar for Suicidal Tendencies and 13 is just the greatest number of all time.”
Barker then confirmed the name just prior to baby Rocky’s birth on an episode of the One Life One Chance with Toby Morse podcast released on Halloween, noting “the week that Rocky’s due. “Rocky Thirteen Barker,” host Toby Morse said as Barker repeated, “Rocky Thirteen Barker.”
Baby Rocky joins the couple’s big blended family: Kardashian shares Reign Aston, 8, Mason Dash, 13, and daughter Penelope Scotland, 11, with ex Scott Disick. Barker shares son Landon, 20, daughter Alabama, 17, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 24, with his ex-wife Shanna Moakler.
Kardashian confirmed she was pregnant with the couple’s first child at a Blink-182 concert in a sweet nod to the band’s “All The Small Things” video from 1999, holding up a sign that read “Travis I’m pregnant,” as one of the actors in the video did, parodying pop acts of the time.
The couple had been open about their struggle to conceive, and Kardashian underwent unexpected emergency fetal surgery during her final trimester in September. Here’s hoping baby Rocky and family are all doing well.
