For Harry Styles fans, Olivia Wilde fans, and gossip purveyors everywhere, 2021 has already started with a bang.

On Monday, the pop star/actor and his Don't Worry Darling director, Olivia Wilde, were spotted holding hands, inevitably sparking dating rumors. Amid the release of photos of the pair masked up with fingers interlaced at a friend's wedding over the weekend, more reports have surfaced about their reported relationship — such as how they kept things under wraps.

James Corden Was Allegedly Involved

According to Page Six, the British talk show host and Cats star had a hand in helping Styles, his close friend, keep the reported relationship a secret in its early days. Since filming of Don't Worry Darling took place in Palm Springs, a source told the outlet, Wilde and Styles spent time alone on the set and at Corden's nearby house.

"Harry had been staying at James Corden's house near Palm Springs during filming, and so they were able to be alone and keep their relationship very secret," the source said.

Their "Close Friendship Quickly Turned Romantic"

People reports that Wilde and Styles have been dating for "a few weeks," but what started as a "close friendship" on set "quickly turned romantic," per a source.

"Everyone saw it coming. During breaks, he's hasn't been able to stay away and visited her trailer," the source added.

Another source told ET, "Olivia and Harry are together for long days on set and have gotten to know each other really well, so it's all very organic," adding that Wilde "wouldn't let a romantic relationship get in the way of a professional one, so anything they're doing is being done thoughtfully."

Wilde and Saturday Night Live alum Jason Sudeikis announced their split at the end of last year, reportedly having gone their separate ways in early 2020.

However, the former couple, who share a 6-year-old son, Otis, and a 4-year-old daughter, Daisy, appear to have remained close, and a source told ET it's unlikely Sudeikis was shocked by the news that Wilde might be dating Styles.

"Olivia and Jason talk all the time and are still close because of the kids," the source said. "It's highly unlikely he was blind-sided by this news."

They're Staying Professional On Set

A source told ET that Styles and Wilde are doing just fine balancing work and their relationship on the set of their movie.

"She really creates a little community. She wasn't joking when she said she has zero tolerance for a—holes," the source said, adding that it's important to Wilde that the vibe on her set is professional, collaborative and fun.

The source also said the photos of the couple that broke news of their relationship were "absolutely not leaked or staged for some sort of promotional reason."

Most recently, Wilde took to Instagram with black-and-white photo of Styles and raved about his performance while filming and his graciousness toward his co-star Florence Pugh.

"Not only did he relish the opportunity to allow for the brilliant @florencepugh to hold center stage as our 'Alice,' but he infused every scene with a nuanced sense of humanity," she wrote. "He didn't have to join our circus, but he jumped on board with humility and grace, and blew us away every day with his talent, warmth, and ability to drive backwards."
