The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is really diving deep into the drama this season, and naturally, there is a feud or two in the mix. One biggie: the tension between Crystal Kung Minkoff and Sutton Stracke.

The fight stems back to comments Sutton made about racial stereotypes in season 11. And while Sutton and Crystal seemed to have moved on from things and even started working on their friendship, Garcelle Beauvais stirred the pot again earlier in the season.

"When you and Sutton had your thing, I felt like no matter what she said—she could've said the sky is blue—you were going to say, 'Are you that girl?' 'cause I just felt like it was a setup,” Garcelle said.

Crystal then replied, "Now that you know me, do you still think that?" Garcelle’s response: "I don't know."

Then Crystal dropped a cryptic detail from the season 11 fight (one that has not been mentioned before) that had fans searching for more answers.

During last week's episode, Kyle attempted to pry the details out of Crystal. And as you can imagine, she didn't make much progress. But all hope was not lost! Crystal did, eventually, spill the tea during a dinner later on.

OK, so…what’s the deal with this feud, where do things stand now, and what did Sutton actually say to Crystal? Here’s everything you need to know.

How long have Crystal and Sutton been friends?

Crystal and Sutton met on the show. And even though they have their issues, they’re actually friends now. “I’m friends with everyone. I talk to Sutton a lot. We talk a lot,” Crystal told Us Weekly in March. “She grows on some, but she grew on me.”

What was the original season 11 fight about?

All of this drama stems back to an episode in May 2021, when Crystal (who is the first Asian American housewife, BTW), spoke about racial stereotypes and how painful they can be.

Sutton, who is from Georgia, jumped in. “Do you want to talk about when I see dumbass rednecks on the TV, and that’s supposed to be me? I also have a stereotype, but I don’t want to bring it up!” she said.

Crystal’s response: “Are you one of those people that you don't see color? Tell me you're not that girl."

Naturally, things didn’t end well.

Did they make up after the first fight?

Short answer: Yes. Sutton spoke out publicly about the incident on Instagram after the episode aired.

“Despite Crystal and my strained relationship at the time, it was disrespectful to interrupt her and not listen to her express her truth,” Sutton wrote. “My life is blessed by the diversity of my relationships and I am committed to become a better listener to understand the painful realities experienced by people of color.

Crystal responded in the comments with this: “Thank you, Sutton. Your apology means a lot to me, and I’m sure it means a lot to many others with similar lived experiences. Asian Americans are often expected not to share their opinions, but despite this stereotype, I believe that everyone deserves to be heard. I consciously re-wired myself to be outspoken and share my feelings whenever possible, and I encourage my children to do the same.”

More was said during the initial fight, though.

Apparently, something else was said during their argument that didn't sit right with Crystal. She later told Garcelle that, "there was a lot more said prior to [the original feud], that was very dark."

What did Sutton say to Crystal?

Of course, everyone wanted more details about what "very dark" things Sutton said, but Crystal stayed mum up until last week's episode.

As shown in a flashback, the girls took a trip to Lake Tahoe and Sutton told Crystal, “My white child is with Black girls in there, a Chinese girl was in the Jacuzzi, and I’m like, ‘This is what it should be,’” which Crystal felt was a "problematic" thing to say.

Some of the other housewives expressed frustration at the revelation that this was the "dark" comment Crystal appeared to be talking about. Some seemingly sided with Sutton and even suggested that Crystal's claim was overly dramatic.

“It’s not like she said something that was so horrible. I was like, ‘Is there something else?’ That doesn’t seem ‘dark’ to me,” Garcelle told Crystal. “That didn’t seem as ‘dark’ as you made it out to be. That’s what I’m talking about...What we’re all taking offense to is the fact that you alluded to it being something really bad that could hurt her reputation.”

But Crystal stuck her ground.

Is that all Sutton said?

On June 8, Crystal guest-starred on Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen, and things got even murkier. After fans voted that the jacuzzi comment wasn't problematic, Crystal shared more information that opened the flood gates to speculation.

"Well that story wasn't problematic," she said, hinting that there may be something else that wasn't shared on the show.

"Look, Sutton and I know what was said, and we've spoken at length about it," Crystal explained. "And she has apologized to me privately and publicly in a very public tweet because that conversation was a lengthy one...I'm choosing, and I've chosen back then, to believe her in her apology and to move forward."

What else is Crystal saying about the situation?

On June 6, Crystal spoke about how she was feeling following the first on-air discussion about the comments. "I don't think anyone would want to be talked to like that," Crystal told E! News, "but I try to live with patience."

She also revealed that her initial instinct was wanting "to be always liked—and I'm really shedding that a lot." She continued, "I try to live with understanding, but sometimes, you're gonna push me, and I'm gonna push back. I'm gonna say how it is. And if you don't like it, you can find someone else to talk to."

What about the other housewives?

In a new preview for tonight's episode, Diana Jenkins called Sutton out for contradicting herself by saying she hated Crystal but liked her at the same time.

But before Diana could get to the bottom of things, Sutton came to her own defense and things got heated from there. In her confessional, Diana said “To turn on somebody who is trying to help you, it’s really not normal behavior. Not if you’re a stable person.”

Other details about Sutton’s behavior have surfaced.

Although many fans and some of the housewives say Crystal overreacted, more info has been brought to light. In a now-deleted TikTok post, Sutton’s daughter’s ex-best friend Elissa spoke up about her experience.

In the text on her video, she wrote, “Me when I cut off my high school BFF of 5 years because her mom was racist to me and now she's a real housewife getting called out for being racist and her response is “my white daughter had a Chinese friend” on TV.”

Uh....big yikes.
