The Duchess of Sussex may be stepping back from her position as a senior member of the royal family and moving, at least part-time, to Canada, but that doesn't mean she's stopping her humanitarian work. On Tuesday, she visited two different organizations that work to empower women in Vancouver.

Town & Country previously reported on Meghan's meeting at the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre (DEWC), an organization which supports women and children in the city with food, clothing, counseling, and programs ranging from senior outreach and skills development to HIV case management.

"Look who we had tea with today!" reads a post on the center's Facebook page. "The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, visited us today to discuss issues affecting women in the community. 💜"

And this evening, Justice for Girls, a charity which provides young women in need with advocacy and education services, shared that the Duchess had also stopped by their Vancouver office yesterday.

"The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle visited to discuss climate justice for girls and the rights of Indigenous peoples," reads a tweet from the group, which was accompanied by two photos. "Was great to talk about the importance of a holistic approach to social justice, and the power of young women’s leadership."

While Meghan is busy settling in to her new community and getting to know the charity landscape in Vancouver, Prince Harry is still back in the UK, where negotiations about the Sussexes' future roles within the royal family are ongoing.

"These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days," Queen Elizabeth said in a rare personal statement following her meeting with Prince Harry on Monday.

Harry reportedly has a few additional meetings next week. After those, he will return to his wife and young son in Canada.
