According to TMZ’s source, Williams has been receiving treatment for the past several days at the facility for depression.

The 37-year-old singer has been open about her struggle with depression in the past and even revealed on The Talk during the Oct. 18, 2017, show that she was at one time suicidal.

“I think at the age of 25, had I had a name to what I was feeling at the time, I would have disclosed that ‘I’ve been suffering from depression,’” Williams said on the talk show. “I didn’t know until I was in my 30s what was going on. … I’ve been suffering since the age of between 13 and 15. … I didn’t know what to call it.”

Williams went on to say that at the time, she told Destiny’s Child’s manager, Matthew Knowles, about her feelings. He responded, according to Williams, “Ya’ll just signed a multimillion-dollar deal, you’re about to go on tour, what do you have to be depressed about?”

She said, “It got really, really bad … to the point of I was suicidal. I was to that place where it got so dark and heavy.”

In the statement that Williams shared on Tuesday, she wrote, “For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognize when it’s time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your wellbeing. …

“Today I proudly, happily and healthily stand here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for the betterment of those in need.”

Many fans of the singer have commented on her Instagram post in support, including her former bandmate Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, who wrote, “Keep being a warrior and an advocate for you. I love and support you with all my being.”
