Calling all candle connoisseurs: we found a new collection you'll proudly display in your home! L'or de Seraphine, known for its gorgeous patterned vessels, has collaborated with textile and interior designer Lori Weitzner to create a captivating line that celebrates the inspiration found in travel. And as can be expected from these collaborators, the candles not only smells amazing, but the vessels are chic enough to serve as decor! The four-piece sustainable candle collection takes you around the world and instantly transforms the ambiance of your space.

For L’or de Seraphine founder Dara Weiss, the collaboration was a full-circle moment. “Growing up, my mother was an interior designer and was always a fan of Lori Weitzner’s work," she says. "She incorporated Lori’s fabrics and wallcoverings into many of the homes she decorated. I knew that Lori’s stunning fabrics would translate so beautifully to candle vessel designs."

Weitzner's ability to translate her designs into corresponding fragrances is the true delight of this collection. Each vessel is unique, inspired by destinations Weitzner loves. "The patterns for these candles are reflective of four places that most inspire me, all in different ways: Indonesia, Japan, and India, where I often develop my wallcoverings and textiles with local artisans, and Turks and Caicos, which restores me," Weitzner explains.

There's a special story behind each candle, honoring phrases and practices found in each country. Diam, which translates to "be still" in Indonesian, is a blend of massoia wood, amber, sandalwood, and patchouli. It's inspired by the practice of Indonesian flower bathing. If you're looking for a bright and zesty candle, the Float candle captures notes of teakwood, citrus, sandalwood as a nod to the healing water in Turks and Caicos.

"The balance of color and pattern in the designs was key; they needed to be beautiful as stand-alone ceramic accessories, but also to connect to the fragrances they contain," explains Weitzner. "It was really that connection of visual design and fragrance that excited me the most."

Nothing compares to coming home after vacation and lighting a candle to unwind. You'll return to these candles over and over again to reflect on your time abroad. You can shop the collection through L'or de Seraphine starting today (the candles retail for $48 each).
