"Descendants 3" Cast Perform Their Own Version of Carpool Karaoke

With a sneak peek at a new song.

Is there anything that isn’t made better by a little Carpool Karaoke? The latest group to take on the singing challenge (made famous by James Corden) is definitely unexpected, and they’re doing it their own way — just like their iconic characters. The cast of Descendants 3 put their own spin on the viral segment, and it’s so adorable.

Dove Cameron, also known as lead character Mal, joined her castmates Cameron Boyce (AKA Carlos), Booboo Stewart (Jay), and Sarah Jeffrey (Audrey) for a quick drive around performing “It’s Good to Be Bad,” a brand-new song from the upcoming movie.

In their “CARscendants” version, there's no Late Late Show host to be found; the crew takes turns at the wheel as they sing. Sofia Carson, who plays Evie, even makes an appearance via video chat, and we’d be lying if we said we weren’t totally excited to see the VK gang back in action when the third (and final) installment airs on the Disney channel in August.

Director Kenny Ortega told E! News that “It’s Good to Be Bad” will be the big opening song in the new movie. “We wanted a song that said we've grown, we've changed, and that we're bringing a new day now to the Isle,” he explained.

The song and its accompanying music video have a very catchy ‘90s dance vibe, which pairs perfectly with the unique choreography, and we have a feeling it’s going to be at the top of the playlist when we perform our next private version of Carpool Karaoke with our own BFFs.
