Denver Zoo's Duck Named Matt Dillion Thinks He's a Flamingo

White-Faced Whistling Ducks may be known for their distinctive coloring and high-pitched whistling call, but the Whistling Duck who resides at the Denver Zoo named Matt Dillion will now be known for thinking he's a flamingo.

Watch the following cute clip of Matt posted on  August 15 from @Denverzoo.

The video says, "A few months ago our animal care specialists noticed that Matt Dillion loved interacting with our flamingos when they walked by his habitat. They decided to bring him along for a daily flamingo enrichment walk."

We just love the way Matt lets out his distinctive little whistle when one of the flamingos extends his beautiful pink wings. He looks so happy to be following behind these big birds.

TikTok users are enchanted by this whole scenario and @Wrinkles speaks for Matt and says, “Nice to be out here, us three Flamingos.” Yup, that's his flock now. @DJ adds, "When your friend rocks a different aesthetic but still just as stylish." @Iodine replies, "No ugly ducklings here..just us gorgeous flamingos!" @Kimberly noticed the same thing we did and responded, "The little whistle in perfect timing with the Flamingo strutting it's stuff. Adorable. So happy he got to go along!"

It makes sense why Matt wanted to hang with the big guys, because White Whistling Ducks are highly social and usually found in large, noisy flocks. During breeding, these pretty ducks form monogamous pairs and when they have babies they are known for their cooperative parenting, with adults in the group taking care of each other's ducklings, awwwww.
