Denise Richards has certainly made a splash on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season. She's no newcomer to TV: In the nineties, she made guest appearances on Beverly Hills, 90210, Seinfeld, and Melrose Place. After appearing in Starship Troopers and as Bond Girl nuclear physicist Christmas Jones in The World is Not Enough, she established herself as an actress to watch.
Of course, her life offscreen has garnered a lot of attention, too. Following her divorce from Charlie Sheen, Denise got her own reality show: Denise Richards: It's Complicated on E! in 2008. She also appeared on the eighth season of Dancing with the Stars.

Denise also receives child support from ex Charlie Sheen every month.

A Gawker post from 2008 cited a now-deleted Page Six story claiming that Richards would receive $52,000 per month in child support and $60,000 per month in alimony for the first two years after the divorce. She also received part of what we can assume would be residuals from Charlie's show Two and a Half Men, which according to the Page Six source, would "eventually will net her up to $25 million."
However, The Blast reported that Denise cut her ex a break about a year ago, accepting $20,000 per month in child support instead.

She's appeared in ads for companies like Pepsi, J.C. Penney, Secret deodorant, and Head & Shoulders shampoo. Plus, she and fellow Real Housewife Lisa Rinna go way back—they appeared in an informercial together for a "flex belt,"...all of which contributed to Denise's net worth.
Her tell-all memoir, The Real Girl Next Door, came out in 2011.
The book reportedly contains info about her first date with Charlie—where they watched the World Series while eating their own chef-prepared diet meals—and how Charlie was "so paranoid," he had a bulletproof door installed on his bedroom and a closet with a fire pole in it, in case he needed to make a speedy getaway. It's unclear how high her advance was, but celebrity memoirs routinely fetch six figures.
