The Fourth of July is the perfect time to hang in the sun, having lots of fun with friends and fam. Well, Demi Moore did just that and then some during her 2023 Independence Day celebration.

The 60-year-old star just shared photos on Instagram of herself working the coolest Ikat-print swimsuit while stretching out in the sun with her pup, Pilaf. There’s Demi showing off her toned abs while posing with Pilaf next to a tree, Demi flashing her sculpted legs as she chills on a comfy-looking lounger with Pilaf, and Demi having what looks like the time of her life as she bounces around on a trampoline on a lake (Pilaf sat that part out).

“Happy Independence Day! Don’t forget your SPF ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” she wrote in the caption.

People cheered her on in the comments. “Ageless 🔥🔥🔥,” one wrote, while another said, “Gorgeous 🔥🔥🔥.” All true.

Demi is next-level strong right now in that cute suit—but she does more than bounce on an inflatable to get toned and sculpted. Demi shared in her memoir Inside Out that she was “bulking up enormously” for the role—and it had an impact on her body image. “When I got home to Idaho, I had an epiphany in the shower one day: I just need to be my natural size,” she said.

Demi recently revealed on Instagram that she had taken a break from working out for a bit, but got back into it with help from The Mirror (which is now called Lululemon Studio). She usually started out with a 15-minute dance-cardio routine. “That’s doable after not working out for over four years right? I am stalling!” she wrote in an IG caption.

Apparently it was pretty doable, because Demi shared more workouts after that. And she is definitely looking super strong.

While she hasn't shared a ton about her current nutritional plans, she has said that she used to follow intense diets, but finds more balance these days. Demi eats a raw, vegan diet to help her energy levels and keep her on a healthy track, per The Daily Mail.
