Demi Moore is the latest A-list addition to Taylor Sheridan’s ever-growing entertainment empire.

Moore has joined the cast of Sheridan’s upcoming Paramount+ series, Landman, according to Variety. She will star alongside Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, and Michelle Randolph, in the show based on Texas Monthly’s podcast “Boomtown.”

Per the official logline, Landman “is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas and is a modern day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. The series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.”

Moore will appear in the series regular role of Cami, described as “wife to one of the most powerful oil men in Texas and a friend of Tommy Norris (Thornton).”

“Demi Moore is an iconic and extraordinary talent,” Chris McCarthy, president and CEO of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, said in a statement. “We are thrilled to have her join Billy Bob Thornton and the star-studded cast of Landman, our next epic series from Taylor Sheridan.”

Landman recently began filming in and around Fort Worth, Texas.

This is a developing story.
